For whom?
The Business Innovation Program Food is for entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector who are committed to converting a promising idea into a new revenue model. Participation is open to companies that contribute to accelerating the transition to a sustainable and healthy food system with this idea. These are startups or innovative SMEs that are active in the agrifood sector in the broad sense. Think of agriculture and horticulture, the food processing industry, data and technology companies and (logistics) service providers.
What can you expect from us?
- In 10 modules we train you to get started with your vision, customer, product, impact, revenue model, team and collaborations at the right time and in the right way.
- Every week a plenary session takes place, alternately online or at a central location in the Netherlands. In this you will receive theory about one of the dimensions and feedback from the trainers, supervisors and other participants.
- You will receive practical assignments to prepare for and complete each module.
- In addition, there is one-on-one guidance from business development of your Regional Development Agency (ROM).
What can you expect from us?
- We ask for a minimum of 0.5 FTE effort per participating company for the ten weeks that the program runs. This means that an average of 20 hours per week is asked of your company.
- Attendance at the sessions (for ten weeks on Wednesday mornings), including completion of the associated assignments.
