Research into structural changes in living cells is taking off in the medical world. Unfortunately, the existing technology requires researchers to undergo long and intensive training in microscopy. Furthermore, cell research on a microscopic scale is traditionally done with intense laser light, which damages and eventually kills living cells. As a result, living cells can usually only be studied to a limited extent.

They are also very economical with laser light despite their super high resolution. In this way, Confocal.nl efficiently creates many more possibilities with existing medical equipment.
