The SDE++ scheme will be open from September 5 to October 5
This is what the SDE++ scheme entails:
The SDE++ is a so-called operating subsidy. This means that you as an entrepreneur receive a subsidy as long as you have an installation in use. The amount of the subsidy can vary and depends on the market price and the actual amount of renewable energy that your installation generates or the effective CO2 savings that you achieve with it. The subsidy runs for a period of 12 or 15 years. You can read how the amount of the subsidy is determined here under the heading 'Subsidy for unprofitable top'.
Objective of SDE++: reduce CO2 emissions
With the SDE++, the Dutch government wants to stimulate companies to generate renewable energy on a large scale and reduce CO2 emissions, so that the energy transition in the Netherlands remains feasible and affordable. The ultimate goal is a significantly lower CO2 emission of greenhouse gases in the Netherlands. In 2030, these emissions must be at least 55% lower than in 1990.
