Financing for your innovation: the MIT scheme and other subsidies

MIT scheme

The subsidy scheme SME innovation stimulation Top Sectors (MIT) for R&D collaboration projects is open. As an innovative startup, scale-up or SME entrepreneur, you can receive a subsidy for a collaboration project with another SME company for the development of your new product or service.

The MIT scheme is one of the schemes with which the province of North Holland supports small and medium-sized enterprises and wants to stimulate innovation. The scheme is intended for North Holland SME entrepreneurs who are looking for financing in the initial phase of their project. Together you can receive a maximum of 350,000 euros in subsidy and for an individual feasibility project a maximum of 20,000 euros in subsidy. Applications for the scheme can be submitted until Tuesday 12 September 2023 at 5:00 PM.

More about the MIT scheme
More information about the MIT grant scheme and application forms for collaborative projects or for individual feasibility projects you will find on the website for North Holland.

Even more support for entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs can also use Investment Ready Program PIM, the acceleration program GO! –NH and the Innovation Fund North Holland or possibly for support from ROM InWest. Entrepreneurs in North Holland North can contact Development company NHN for advice and support on subsidy and investment issues.
