The energy market is changing rapidly. Fluctuating supply and demand of renewable energy sources make it necessary to deal with energy in a smart and flexible way. Sympower responds to this challenge by bundling and monetizing energy flexibility of industrial companies, battery storage and owners of renewable energy sources. With its innovative solutions, Sympower keeps the electricity grid stable and efficient.
Sympower is able to optimally align flexible energy consumption, in order to balance supply and demand on the energy market. This is done by automated control of industrial processes, battery storage (BESS) and renewable energy sources (RES). The released flexibility is then sold on European energy markets. This allows companies not only to reduce their energy costs, but also to actively contribute to the stability of the grid and at the same time generate additional income.
The use of Sympower's technology has a significant impact, both locally and internationally:
● CO2 reduction: Using grid balancing to keep the electricity grid in balance reduces dependence on fossil fuel plants and accelerates the integration of renewable energy into the energy system by strengthening the grid.
● Efficient use of energy resources: Thanks to smart control, energy use is optimized, which prevents waste.
● Stimulating the regional economy: The regional economy is strengthened by collaborating with local companies and creating new jobs in the energy sector.
The development and scaling up of Sympower's innovative technology was made possible in part by financial support from PDENH. Thanks to this investment, the company was able to further develop its platform and expand it to multiple European markets. Sympower also works closely with grid operators, industrial partners and knowledge institutions to continuously improve the technology and adapt it to new challenges in the energy transition.
With their innovative solutions and strong partnerships, Sympower proves that sustainability, technological innovation and economic growth can go hand in hand. In this way, they make an essential contribution to a reliable, green energy supply for the future.
