On April 4, the subsidy scheme SME Innovation Stimulation Top Sectors (MIT) opened. Startups, scale-ups and innovative SME entrepreneurs receive a subsidy for a feasibility study into the development of their innovative product or new service. ROM InWest assists the province of North Holland with the entire application process and is therefore up to date with the latest innovations.
MIT Regulation & Latest innovations: stay informed immediately
The SME innovation incentive scheme helps entrepreneurs to bring their smart products and services to the market faster. We exchange information about these types of MIT schemes – but also about other innovative matters – with the province. This, combined with our own business intelligence, allows us to know at an early stage which entrepreneurs are working on what and which new propositions seem promising. Of course, we also keep track of which companies can make use of certain subsidy schemes. This knowledge helps us to make combinations of investments.
Hot: AI, cyber security and LSH
So we have a lot of information about what is happening in North Holland and see where the innovative power of the province lies. By far the most current propositions have to do with digitalization. Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security in particular remain 'hot'. But also a lot of Life Sciences and Health companies are working on new products and are going through interesting developments.
