At the general meeting of shareholders (AGM) on 29 June, the municipalities of Haarlemmermeer, Zaanstad and Waterland were also present at the table for the first time. Together with the other shareholders, they were shown the results achieved by ROM InWest for the first time.

Since the municipalities of Haarlemmermeer, Zaanstad and Waterland joined at the beginning of this year, ROM InWest now has 23 shareholders – a number that is still growing and illustrates the increasingly broad anchoring of ROM InWest in the region.

Construction phase colors numbers

During the general meeting of shareholders, we explained how we have supported entrepreneurs in the past 1.5 years and what investments we made during that period. The fact that our achieved returns are still lower than our management costs is because we are still building up our young organization. Promising is that we have already made more investments in the first half of this year than in the whole of 2022.

Working on visibility with the new shareholders

We also explained how we want to be visible as an organization and what we do in that context. For example, in the second half of this year we want to hold a number of round table sessions with our shareholders keep. The aim is for specialists in the field of energy and circularity, for example, to understand how entrepreneurs to be effectively brought into contact with our organization.
