As of April 2, the province of North Holland will transfer PDENH fund management to ROM InWest. PDENH has invested in sustainable and innovative companies and initiatives in recent years. In order to ensure continuity in fund management, ROM InWest will work together with KplusV and StartGreen in the coming period.

The current fund management team will remain involved and will work with ROM InWest during the transfer phase. For the portfolio companies, this means continuity and consistency in the policy of the past years, which will optimize the chance of financial, economic and social success for the companies, the fund and the region.

In recent years, the fund has made a significant contribution to the transition to a sustainable and circular economy. Provincial Executive Esther Rommel: “The fund has invested more than 70 million euros in innovative and sustainable projects. The companies involved are often in their start-up or scale-up phase. Their projects and activities provide a boost to the region in the field of energy transition, circular economy and sustainable mobility. With the investments, PDENH closed a gap in the capital market for these types of companies and projects. By the end of 2022, the companies involved will have achieved almost 900 kilotons of CO2 savings and created 566 full-time equivalents in employment. PDENH's investments have also attracted more than €230 million in co-investments in these companies in recent years.”
