Tiny Library crosses borders thanks to crowdfunding

Tiny Library, the rental platform for baby and children's products, is preparing for the next phase of growth. By 2028, Tiny Library wants to be the circular choice for baby products in the Benelux and Germany: that is the ambition. To realize these plans, the company has started a crowdfunding campaign. Founder and CEO Julie Munneke explains why Tiny Library uses crowdfunding: "We are a mission-driven brand that wants to strengthen the circular economy in the baby market. Through crowdfunding, we not only want to raise growth capital, but also give people the opportunity to actively contribute to our mission."

Ambitious growth

The platform, which makes the baby market more sustainable and at the same time provides considerable relief for parents, has big plans. The campaign, which ends at the end of January, is very successful and aims to raise €500,000 for Tiny Library via crowdfunding. This money is for the further development of the platform, optimizing logistics and realizing international expansion. Tiny Library wants to further improve the customer experience and processes. Such as further automating the management and administration of rented products. Munneke: “In concrete terms, this means that, for example, scanning and linking products will be organized more efficiently. In addition, part of the money will go to optimizing the refurbishment center, where rented items are cleaned and prepared for reuse.”

Tiny Library goes international

The plans go beyond the Netherlands. “In 2025, we will focus on an active marketing campaign in Belgium, and in 2026 we want to start a pilot in Germany,” says Munneke. “Our long-term goal is to be the circular choice for baby products in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany by 2028. We aim for a market share of 10% and want at least 75% of parents to consider us in their choices.”

Contribute to the sustainable revolution?

Investing in Tiny Library is easy; individuals can participate from €545.62 – good for two shares. The choice for crowdfunding fits in with the vision of Tiny Library. “It is a way to involve our community and give individuals the opportunity to become ambassadors for our brand,” says Munneke. “Anyone who invests feels part of our mission and is more likely to share our story with friends and family. That involvement is very valuable to us.”

The campaign will run until 31 January and Tiny Library is still looking for the last investors. This is your chance to be part of this sustainable mission and contribute to a circular future for baby products! Join us
