Food transition

In 2050, there will be 10 billion people who all want access to healthy and sustainable food, within the limits of our planet. To achieve this, our current food system needs to be overhauled. This system causes almost a third of global greenhouse gas emissions, depletes natural resources and harms biodiversity and health through both over- and undernutrition. The ideas of innovative entrepreneurs are essential for the transition to healthy and sustainably produced food.

Are you an (agricultural) entrepreneur based in North Holland and does your solution accelerate the food transition? For example, are you working on a product with vegetable protein, sustainable food production and processing or on preventing food waste? Or does your innovation stimulate smart farming, for example by using less pesticides, water or artificial fertilizers?
