PDENH and other financiers provided the necessary investments for the digester in Alkmaar, where biogas is made from fruit and vegetable waste that can no longer be used in other processes. The gas is converted into green energy in the digester, thus contributing to the energy transition.<\/p>\n
Sustenso's choice of exit follows from a combination of factors. Talks with ENGIE
\nand current funders led to the conclusion that scaling up the biogas plant would
\nmore promising within a large company. Also, a big player offers more opportunities to get into
\nrespond to current movements in the energy market. For instance, Sustenso expects the
\nsale of the biogas plant to serve the energy transition.<\/p>\n
